Darr'k Ly't 'Darklight' 'Alice'

As stated before I can't tell you guys a whole lot about these guys so as to not spoil future stuff. But you can see them and get a little info.


The Jala Tuur'ga leader, Rovnitovv K'dgati, assigned Darr'k Ly't (or simply Darklight) to lead the rest of the mutants. Darklight is anything but easy to read. It often looks rather smug and overly confident, but all the same it does an excellent job of looking totally sincere and sympathetic if the need arises, along with most any other emotion as well. Thus it is near impossible to tell when Darklight is being serious or simply manipulating those around it. It is no secret that the super intelligent creature is capable of such. It has its own agenda of sorts, but it keeps it very low key in knowledge. Darklight is ridiculously intelligent and persuasive. Just who's side, if anyone at all, that it is on, is quite unclear. It has been said to make some incredibly uneasy and others feel comforted and secure. Just what goes on in this one's mind? Many would like to know. Darklight is a mutant if there ever was on. Not only is it covered in a variety of tentacles, which are in turn covered in a multitude of eyes, but it also has several tongues--one of which is a direct line to its stomach and looks more like a lamprey than a tongue. Its most notable characteristic is the ability to become almost completely invisible to the eye at will. It even has specially manufactured pants that can mimic this technique as well. Its gloves, shoes and other gear aren't made of the same stuff, but they're easy enough to take off if it wants to go full stealth. If not wanting to be completely invisible, it may appear as a bright outline with faint color or it may revert to its default white and black appearance.

  Darklight is affectionately known amongst the Jala Tuur'ga as 'Alice,' a name it absolutely hates. It was given this name by V'zequanii B'be's young granddaughter. Despite its hatred of the name, Darklight does not seem to mind the little Jala Tuur'ga who named it such and tolerates her fairly graciously. Darklight is considered the hope of the future by the mutants, guardian by the Jala Tuur'ga, and enemy by the Qwuh-9 Qwuedeviv. This is all just from outside observation though. There is far, far more to Darklight that not a single soul knows.

  Darklight's DNA and gene pool make it different than any other mutant ever. The chances of it surviving and fully developing were next to none, but it did, and that in itself is proof that there is something very very different about this creature. Perhaps dangerous, perhaps not. All that is known of Darklight is that is a very powerful and persuasive leader with frightening knowledge of how to direct the minds of others to whatever accord it pleases.
