  I just wanted to stop in and say hi. I've had my friend post a journal or two for me. Can't remember how many now haha. But this is actually me. =p I've had 3 blood patches in the last 30 days the most recent was just last Friday. Last one did not go well. I don't know result wise what it did, but, things were not working right. To keep things short and simple the numbing stuff didn't work and the calming stuff didn't work. And they were working around my tailbone with long needles and what not. My tailbone already has painful issues to begin with. Whatever they did first sent me into like...shock. I was awake but I couldn't talk or like force my body to move. And I was in a crud ton of pain.

  When they got done I was crying, and shaking but I still couldn't talk. So they took me to recovery and got me pain meds and stuff, I had spiked a 102 fever out of nowhere, was bright red, shaking like crazy and couldn't stop crying or talk. After a few rounds of dilauded the shaking stopped and I could finally talk, but the crying went on for a lot longer. They eventually got it all under control. On that note, I have like really high pain tolerance. I don't believe I've ever cried during any kind of procedure before. Sooo yeah. That was rough, and scary.

  That said I've been feeling like absolute crud. My stomach is not agreeing with me, my insides feel like someone grabbed them and tore them out, then there's the pain from the operation and for some reason my heels keep going numb which is not a good thing I just don't remember what it means in regards to the procedure.

They also seem to be having issues with my veins the last couple times for some reason...2nd bloodpatch they missed it like 5 times, a place up in the upper arm, and then it popped ;n; it hurt. And last time they chose another weird spot and I think they pierced the whole vein. None of the meds they were putting in it felt like they did anything, and being my third time, I was pretty aware of what they were supposed to feel like. Kinda weird too because all the doctors always say my veins are really good and they have no issues with them.

Also if this bloodpatch doesn't work they're ordering a test to see where they're at and if I have any others. That knowledge is good, but unfortunately the test to do it is....not fun at all. They said its basically the equivalent of a spinal tap....which sounds....awful ;n;

   So yeah I'm still alive, just feeling really awful. I hope I'll be able to draw again soon. I really miss it.

That's awful! As someone who's had like 3 major abdominal surgeries, I feel for you. All the medical stuff is *beyond* rough, and it seems like you have it worse than I ever did.
I hope you can pull through and everything gets fixed up okay! <3
