I started out as a writer, drawing purely because I wanted to visualize my characters, however over the course of time I started having an interest in bettering my skills at drawing too. I also enjoy drawing comics, and animation. Color Theory also really interests me. All stuff I’d love to work on if time and health permit.
While I am technically a ‘professional,’ it’s not what most people think it is. A lot of people think I’m either hired to do the stuff I do or work with a team. Neither is true actually. I do have stuff officially published but I still see it as more of a hobby than a job. I certainly don’t make anything off of it with all the time, effort and love that has gone into making everything.
I create purely because that’s what I do! I’ve always had the desire to create characters and worlds for them to exist in. The fact other people seem to enjoy said worlds and characters is like a bonus! To word it another way, I do what I do because it’s my passion and important to me, not because I want to get rich.
As a bit of a side note I have a ton of health issues including some things called EDS, POTS, CSF Leak, Autonomic Dysfunction and more. The main reason I mention this is because you’ll notice I appear and disappear sometimes without a lot of explanation a lot. It’s because I see a lot of doctors and have a lot of procedures and recovery times.
I’m told by a lot of people that I come across as confident and outgoing. I’m actually really shy though, and the more out-going side is the only way I can force myself to answer. I love talking to you all, don’t get me wrong! I’m just incredibly shy and insecure. Very much an introvert as I’m sure many of you are as well!
I like to make people smile though and be there as someone who cares. The world needs more of it, right? I figure it’s one of the core needs people have, and a lot of people feel like no one does, so we all help. ^-^
Most of what you'll find in my gallery is from my Qwuedeviv universe. Although you will probably see some things from Delirious Deadlock, and Project Grave Vault as well; two other things I work on. There is always a surplus of kitties here!
Cats, deep sea creatures, aliens, military, cute stuff and a plethora of other odds and ends are all interests of mine. I draw mainly SFW art, although I’m branching out a bit gradually. However none of that is posted to my DA. I’ve got an assortment of specific interests that I’m not listing here but you can always ask about. I’m pretty open about stuff. I’m referring to mostly ‘fetishes’ here. A lot of people know I like spanky art, but there’s other stuff I like too, sub/dom, collars and leashes, gore, etc. Although a lot of the times I don’t like them in the same capacity as what is considered "normal."
I like to half jokingly, have seriously proclaim it’s my life goal to have the most cats drawn in a single gallery out of everyone ever. XD Wouldn’t that be a feat? ULTRA CAT LOVER.

On that note however I often get asked if it would be appropriate to read during school breaks and stuff. The answer to that (in my opinion) is yes! I don’t use swear words in any of it, and there’s no nudity/sexual content issues. If anything it can get a bit violent and dark sometimes, but so can a lot of stuff meant for pretty young kids! So you should be safe.
I love comments, watches and faves! I appreciate them all and read every one c= However due to the large number of people watching me, I can't always reply. Partially from how slow my internet is, the mass volume of stuff coming in, and most recently, my health. I wouldn't have any time to draw or write! X3 So I'm sorry if I don't reply to all of you--I do read them all though. It can very often take me several months to see the comments though.
So if you’ve asked me a question and it’s been some time with no answer, it doesn’t mean I’ve ignored you. Just because you see new art, or a new journal or even some more recent comments, it also doesn’t mean I skipped over yours. My commenting is very sporadic. However if you feel I may have accidentally overlooked something I have absolutely no problem with you asking me! If THAT doesn’t receive a reply, you can assume I just haven’t seen it yet, because I will always let you know one way or another. It’s just the time frame that might vary.

A lot of people get a bit confused by the stuff listed on my profile page in regards to characters. It can sound like I don’t want you to draw stuff including my OCs or risk upsetting me. I’m not as unfriendly as it sounds!
I just have a lot of issues with people bending the rules and going against my wishes. My characters are my babies (as I’m sure yours are to you too!) and I’m just protective over what they end up in, so here’s a little clarification. You can always ask me directly too.
One of the things people find most confusing is the relationships/pairing thing. This does NOT refer to if you want to draw a pic of your OC hugging mine with a get well message or something like that. Or them hanging out. That’s all totally fine (so long as it’s SFW). What that rule refers to, is not claiming it to be an official relation dynamic.
Here’s some examples of what I don’t like:
“Spork is my character, Mary’s boyfriend.”
“David grew up with Smiley and has always been its best friend.”
“David really hates Spork even though Spork has always really liked David.”
“Spork and David have always been rivals.”
The problem arises when you say how your character feels about a thing, and then decide to control how mine responds to it. See what I mean? Where you’re controlling both of the characters rather than yours? That’s the sort of thing I don’t like. It’s kind of like g-modding in an RP, except in art.
Now here’s a few examples of things that would be okay to do:
“Mary really likes Smiley.”
“David really hates Spork.”
Yes. And yes.
The rule is a little complicated because you run into the grounds of character interactions here too, but generally if it’s in character for the character then there’s not a problem. Examples of this would be, Love ‘n Hearts loves literally everyone and is very affectionate. Therefore if you drew them hugging your character, it’d be totally normal. Where as, if you drew Spork hugging your character, it’d be quite out of character.
Some other examples of exceptions would be what I’ll call joke pictures. Where one is knowingly taking something out of character or forcing an action on a character that they would normally not be receptive of and makes note of it in the Artist comments.
Other examples of exceptions would be things like get well gift art, or just ‘random’ gifts where you’re not claiming this to be the official state of things, you’re simply drawing stuff to represent friends or whatever. Such as your character giving one of mine a hug as a get well gift for me or your character gaming with mine because you felt like it.
If all this still doesn’t make sense just ask and I can try to clarify more for the particular scenario. But the main thing is, just please don’t make art claiming them to be related to yours, or in a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship, or that your OC is the daughter of their’s or that they’re the son of yours, etc.
Crushes are fine! I have no issue if you say your character has a crush on one of mine, as that is you controlling your character. Just no saying my character has a crush on yours, because that would be you controlling mine, rather than yours. Hopefully that makes sense.
I don’t mind if you post ‘what if’s,’ of shippings between my OC’s and others of my OC’s. I’d appreciate if you kept them in character, but I’m not gonna complain too much if they’re not. But please don’t ship them with characters that don’t belong to me. For example, your own, or a sonic character etc. Also same as before, keep it SFW unless you've gotten permission from me directly prior to making the pic. (I generally don't okay NSFW though, so probably stay SFW).
